If you weren’t in the gym, you truly missed something special. The 2026 Maryland AAU Boys Basketball Championships brought the heat April 25–26, as 28 teams from across the region battled it out in an unforgettable showcase of talent, heart, and determination.

These young athletes didn’t just come to play—they came to compete. The stakes were high, the intensity was real, and every game delivered moments that players, coaches, and families will be talking about for a long time. Congratulations to our winning teams, dedicated coaches, and every single participant who made this tournament a tremendous success!

Maryland AAU Awards Banquet Ignites Inspiration, Celebrates 2025 Achievers

BALTIMORE, Md. (November 12, 2025) -- What an incredible night! The Maryland District AAU proudly celebrated its 38th Annual Awards Banquet, honoring the athletic and academic achievements of our outstanding youth athletes. Over 300 young competitors, coaches, parents, and friends filled the ballroom at Martin’s West for an unforgettable evening of excitement, inspiration, and recognition.

The energy soared as AAU President Jo Mirza delivered a powerful keynote message about the importance of discipline, focus, and teamwork —reminding everyone that true champions excel both on and off the field.

Awards were presented to every Athlete/Student representing Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Jump Rope, Swimming, and Track & Field.
