If you'd like to see pictures of yourself, your athlete or team photos posted here, please submit them to the MD AAU WebMaster.  Be sure to include your Team Name, Player(s) names and ages, Coaches and/or Parents names - everything you want mentioned in your picture!  Please note that we reserve the right to crop and edit, resize or refuse submitted photos. Also be aware that some cell phone photographs aren't very clear and may be too small. We will make our best effort to use what we get... Thanks!

Severna Park/AAU Basketball Coach Edward Wilson passed away Thursday at age 92

"Mr. Wilson" (pictured right), as he was affectionately and respectfully known by fellow coaches and administrators, was honored in 2011 when he was presented with Maryland AAU’s Hall of Fame Award. He has sent more than 40 athletes to Division I schools, including 6 girls. and he coached such notable players as Steve Wojciechowski who played for Duke and is now an Head Coach at Marquette, Quinton Jackson who attended North Carolina State and plays with the Harlem Globetrotters, Norman Nolan who played locally for Dunbar High School and attended college in Virginia, and most notably Nolan Smith, Duke University’s point guard that led them to the 2010 National Championship.

Friends and family can contact Mr. Wilson's son, Chip Wilson at (202) 320-9700 to convey your condolences. Funeral arrangements  and pending and will be posted here.

BALTIMORE - The Maryland District AAU is excited and proud to welcome former Original Harlem Globetrotter, Charles "Choo" Smith to our Maryland District AAU family! Choo has accepted the new position of Education and Player Development Coordinator for our Boys Basketball Program!
