OVERCOMING ADVERSITY AWARD WINNERS!
This annual award is presented to a member of the community who has demonstrated integrity, courage, and determination in overcoming adversity; after which he/she has made a unique contribution to their community.
The award is focused on victims who overcame severe life circumstances, life threatening organic diseases or impaired physical injuries. During their battle to overcome, these award recipients continued to contribute to society with hard work and unselfish service. This year, the Maryland District proudly announces THREE Winners:
